Reverse osmosis (RO) is a water purification process that uses a partially permeable membrane to remove ions, unwanted molecules and larger particles water. RO water system is widely used in desalination of sea water, drinking water treatment, hospital, food processing industry, powder coating industry, electronic industry, etc. Reverse Osmosis Systems will remove common chemical contaminants (metal ions, aqueous salts), including sodium, chloride, copper, chromium, and lead; may reduce arsenic, fluoride, radium, sulfate, calcium, magnesium, potassium, nitrate, and phosphorous.
Wastewater Treatment
Wastewater treatment is a process used to remove contaminants from wastewater or sewage and convert it into an effluent that can be returned to the water cycle with acceptable impact or discharge. Treated water from wastewater treatment plant must fulfil Wastewater Effluent Discharge Standards (Environmental Quality Act, 1974).
