Silica Sand Filtration Media is commonly used in aquariums, pools, industrial, water & wastewater, municipal, residential filtration and oil and gas well fracturing. Sand Filter is use as pre-filter to remove sediments, particles, rust, mud, etc. in the water.
Coarse Silica Sand -The sand particles range in diameter(2.4mm – 4.8mm). To remove rust, ion and to soften the water.
Medium Silica Sand -The sand particles range in diameter (1.2mm – 2.4mm). To remove dirt, sediment and particulate in water.
Fine Silica Sand -The sand particles range in diameter(0.6mm – 1.2mm). Further trapping of very fine sediment at the surface of Silica Sand.
Zeolite – The surface structure Zeolite features microscopic mineral projections that allow particulate matter to penetrate deeply into the bed. It can remove small particles in the water less than <5 microns.
Activated Carbon – To remove chlorine and repulsive smell.
